SACRAMENTAL LIFE
“When we open our hearts and minds to God’s graces they bear much fruit in us.”
Sacrament of Baptism Presenting a child to receive the Sacrament of Baptism is a serious obligation on the part of the parents and requires a faith commitment by being practicing, active Catholics. At least one godparent must also be an active, practicing Catholic. Parents seeking baptism for their child should come to the office to register for the Baptism preparation class. Children, ages 7 or older, who are in need of Baptism, participate in the Rite of Christian Initiation (RCIA) process.
